I just got my morning meds and NO PREDNISONE!! It ran out with no one giving me a heads up or re-prescribing!!

Alright Gal, pay attention: it's time for you to get your head up and focus on the prize of HOME. I know it hurts, we all know it but I bet that you've already been through much worse previously in your life and maybe in more adverse conditions. It's only pain, no stranger to you, you can and you will handle it. Quit thinking about the process of travel and bringing anxiety onto the situation, head up and focus HOME.
You'll get through it, I'll get through it, we'll all get through it!

Always get a thorough health assessment and an all clear from your doctor BEFORE setting sail - both to and fro.
Follow your doctor's advise and take your meds the way they are prescribed for best results,

Linzsey - all was clear to go. Fall totally unexpected and could have happened anywhere.
Lesson to learn:
1. Check your health insurance before you travel out of the country.
2. Check the fine print on any travel insurance you purchase
3. Don't fly economy class on long flights!
Feeling OK. My marvelous friends back home are picking me up at the airport, filling my fridge and cupboards with food, charging my car which has been sitting for 2 months.... My daughter arranged for a visiting nurse... and my son here will get me to the airport and set up with a curbside wheelchair!

I already have a follow-up apt with an orthopedic surgeon the day after I return and the following day my infusion - YAY!! The following week - bone density test. And I have to reschedule a basal cell removal that was supposed to happen in Feb.
