Two months...ARGH I have not had a flare since starting MTX and Humira 16 months ago. It was awful!!!
I cannot believe how bad it got and I didn't realize it until it subsided. I am 95% pain free again. Thank you God.
I kept exercising through it as best I could. I cut the sugar and processed foods out of my diet, and after the prednisone and Etodalac didn't work I found that Tylenol and Tylenol PM helped significantly (I don't take Codeine even though the doctor insisted I do).
Once i got on a regimin that worked and the stress died down, so did the flare.
I am so thankful, and I feel for all of you who are struggling with pain, fatigue and depression that accompanies this disease. My prayers go out to all you wonderful people.

A flare for two months must have been entirely exhausting.

Well, I am glad that you are feeling better now, and hope you stay that way.
Having another recurrence.
I hope the meds are still working, but at this point I'm not so sure. I've gone up to 7 MTX a week now. More bloodwork next week.
I see the Dr. again in a month. Feeling AWFUL today.
SOOOO tired of this. Skipped my workout last night, glad I did. Starting to really learn to listen to my body.
Headache, upset stomach, my wrist feels like it's broken when I move it. both feet are swollen and painful. The list goes on. sigh
it's a persistent disease, if it gives you one good day then it whiplashes you with three sucko ones
