I sure understand your concern. I wonder why the docs don't have the patient do the first injection in the office?
First two shots were given in my arm by the nurse and I had no reaction. Subsequent shots were given in the thigh ( alternate between 6 locations) and I have gotten a site reaction each time. Not sure if it is because the meds are building up in my system or not. Will start to take prophylactic Benedryl ( per nurses suggestion)prior to shot next time to see if that helps.
