Hi all,

Anyone have issues with fingers twitching? Like small muscle spasms that happen every now and then? My thumb has been twitching uncontrollably for about two weeks now... Not a big deal just wondered if this is a common RA thing vs random symptom.

I don't know how common it is, but I have the same problem. My fingers twitch now and then and I would think, how weird is that? Just another problem with RA I guess. Good luck.

Look at the bright side Atleast it's not painful. Haha. My eyelid has been thumping for two days now on and off. I'm not sure if it's anything to be concerned about or not but the eye thing bugs the crap out of me. It will go away and return from time to time and who knows where. My body has done this for years long before diagnosis and I don't know if it has anything to do with ra. My thumbs is also a common place that twitch sometimes.

Yes! Fingers, calves, eyes, back, etc. Lots of twitches. Sometimes it's from lack of sleep, sometimes from medication, sometimes from anxiety (waves hand!), sometimes from general fatigue and exhaustion.

Everyone gets them - we notice them because we are always hyper vigilant about our body and newest symptoms.

Yes, this occurred after starting methotrexate. Now, several months later, it never happens any more.
