The only time I start to wake up is at night. I don't sleep in the day and like many of us experience chronic fatigue. So you would think I could sleep at night but nooooo. So here I am in bed, just took an ambien an hour ago and now half a Xanax to try to sleep.

Sometimes it can correlate directly with depression.
When I was in chronic pain rehab, they wanted us to be able to sleep well because in sleeping well we were better able to deal with our pain.
I would discuss it with your doctors.
I couldn't take ambien, wicked nightmares and headaches.
Trazodone helped, though.
