Glad to see you back.
My doc told me one time, if you don't think the Enbrel is working, just quit taking it. That lasted all of 2 weeks and I was back on the weekly shot routine.
One other time he tried to wean me to once every 2 weeks, we started with 10 days apart and going to 2 weeks after about 6 weeks; I lasted 3 week at the 10 days apart and went right back to weekly again.
I guess I have learned my lesson.
Like you, we know that eventually will have to move to a 1 story house. We have only been here for about 2 years now, so I am not quite ready for that, but it is coming.
For now, enjoy being the "supervisor", and let the young ones do all the manual work.
Take Care,
Kim
It's not easy to give up who we are, so taking a biologic to be ourselves isn't a bad thing. It's necessary.
houses are selling like within a week or two around here at listing price so I , think the market has become hotter, so best wishes for you on this new journey in your life!

Houses with stairs look like a really good idea at one point, don't they? I hope you've found a single-story place you like.
Sorry you're feeling so bad.
Don't be a stranger, huh?
Stairs are a huge pain, plus I have this old house, 2 outbuildings, and 6 acres to take care of. Talk about frustrating! I've finally got myself into a routine of doing one chore a day for a maximum of 45 minutes. Between that and my wife helping we are keeping up. There is no way we could afford to move - to find a place that is remote enough to not have any neighbors would be very expensive.
Glad to hear from you. Keep pumping that Enbrel in. I hope you get some relief like I had - just takes some of us a lot longer for it to kick in.
Sorry you've got to eat crow. But you do what you have to - don't ya....
Stress from moving doesn't help. Hope you feel better soon.
Lynne
LOL I'd rather eat crow any day then kale! LOL
When at the height of my RA flaring (so far that is) we moved to a ranch house. I too grinded my teeth as I paid people to paint, landscape, and do all the things I love to do to make it a home.
Then two years after moving in I was almost into a remission state. Got myself the second love of my life, a Greater Swiss Mountain Dog, only to find I had to have both hips and elbows operated on her before she even made it to one!
All I can say is ranch homes rule! I wouldn't have been able to lug around my 120lbs Swissy from room to room if it wasn't for main floor living and a ramp I made her to get to her potty. Now no one in my family needs a ranch but we all love the security of knowing when we get decrepit enough - it's here for me including my raised toilets ( no ramps for me to get to them though :-D ) !
You'll love it once you are nestled all in. I even like having less "junk" to worry about from the downsizing. ;-)
