wow i really need help. I can't get a hold of my Dr.
I think I have an upper Respitory Infection and am using Enbrel. Has anyone ever had that while being on Enbrel and did you to stop taking it? I have not been sick in 10 years so this is new to me. Hoe long did it take to get over it?

Wow, Bigi, you and I are like twins! I woke up with what I hope to be a cold yesterday and I was supposed to take my next injection yesterday. I decided to wait and see how I was doing today. No fever. So I am going to call my rheumy to see if I should go ahead and take the shot today.

That is weird. You and I started about the same time on Enbrel.
have you been getting chills too. I am going through menopause too, so I do not know what is what anymore. Talk about confused.
I do hope you get to feeling better too, and let me know what your Rheumy suggests about taking the shot.

Hey Bigi, just checking in. I was told to skip my enbrel last monday due to my cold and I sure have been able to feel the difference. Can't wait to be rid of it! Hopefully I will be able to do my next one this coming Monday.

Rheumy called back and the Nurse told me i had to go see my Primary. He gave me an antibiotic shot and Keflex to take for 7 days. I also had to stop Enbrel, but he said I should be able to take it again next Wednesday. He really didn't see why I could,nt take it sooner , but said to follow my Rheumys advice.
I am staying in bed today , it's raining here and the rest will do me good. My chest is breaking up and I started to cough a little. So I guess that's a good sign. I hope you feel better soon too.

went to my Primary who gave me an antibiotic shot and keflex. H etold me I should be able to take my shot in a couple of days, but to follow my Rheumys advice and wait til next wednesday.( my reg day).
At least I didn't have any fever. Just a bad chest and head cold. I am in bed all day today. It's raining and I want to get the rest. I don't have any major flares thank god, just a little twinge here and there.My leg hurts me all the time and I can't wait to get to the Orthopedic the end of the month, hope you feel better soon too.
