I wanted to share some information with you incase anyone is unaware of the great support Enbrel offers. I am lucky enough to have a rheumy that set me up for Enbrel support before I started the medicine and they have been wonderful. I talked to a few people I know that were surprised to find Enbrel had so much to offer.
If you are taking Enbrel and aren't aware of the support they have visit their website and sign up. They sent me a sharps container to send back my used Enbrel Sureclicks, a travel bag, loads of information, copay assistance card (every bit helps) and a nurse who calls regularly to check in with me.
I was very unhappy to have to start a biologic but feel a lot better with all the support I have received not only through my doctor but through Enbrel. If Enbrel doesn't work and I have to switch to another medicine I can only hope that the support will be there.
I also am using Otrexup injections (Methotrexate) and they have a copay assistance card also.
Just wanted to share incase someone could use the info.

I was surprised when I had talked to a few people who were using Enbrel (or had) and they had no clue about the support and such because their doctor didn't inform them.
