Does this one ring a bell with anyone?
I took my first dose of Enbrel, 50 mg., Sunday night. (I was on Humira last fall, had to stop it after 6 weeks, then on 25 mg. of Enbrel for 4 weeks before losing my doctor and spending too many months finding a new one.) Anyway, about 4 hours after taking it I developed the mother of all headaches. It's Wednesday, and I still have the headache. This is familiar from Humira. Tuesday morning I woke up with my cheeks bright red, also similar to Humira.
The new one, though, is that I have been in a fairly homicidal mood since Monday. (Not literally: don't call the police.) Just feeling thin-skinned, easily angered, and like I'd truly enjoy verbally taking apart the next person who gets in my face. I have no history of mental/emotional problems, and have been told more than once that I am too patient and forgiving for my own good. This is not my default setting, at all.
Anyone else find that Enbrel or another biologic unleashes their inner mobster?

If severe enough I take mucinex D & Motrin via my pharmacist.
It did get better after first few injections but each time I go off the Enbrel I go through the whole headache ordeal all over again. I tend to get congestion also.
Moods, well don't think so. Of course if the shot sets off the headache my moods are not the best.
Now there are meds that play with my mood. Prednisone at times can cause mood swings.
