Hi everyone,I am a member and post a lot on the lupus board,my dr. prescribed Enbrel last month and I am having such a problem getting it,when I first contacted there support they could not have been nicer ,I never was on hold they just did everything to be helpful,but I am on medicare so I do not qualify for there copay help and my copay was going to be 700.00 a month going to 1500.00 well it goes without saying that is out of the question so I applied with the Encourage foundation for help,this is where the trouble began,they have lost my paper work twice now calling them is an average 45 min. wait and the help is not even close to as nice and helpful as with enbrel,I guess when they are not going to get 40,000 a year from you you are less important,I am asking this question here because I know more people with R.A. use enbrel,has anyone else had these problems?if so what did you do to get your medication? today they gave me a different no. to send my faxes to that they said would be better ,it is a disconnected no.GRRR!!!! thanks for you help and just listening to my rant,Cindy
I was on Enbrel couple years ago and I too needed co pay assistance. I applied through a non profit organization that is supported by private donations. It's called the healthwell foundation and it was very smooth and I had 0 problems. I wish you well.
