Sorry to hear how you are feeling :( I actually had 2 flares. The first was when I had just started the meds and I had no clue what was going on as it was first flare also. I was extremely tired and my skin hurt to be touched. My 2nd flare was last month and it was totally different than my first one. I am still taking the MTX injections and Enbrel. My rheumy told me to slow it down and pace myself. Not listening to my body and stuff. She said I was feeling so good that I started to do too much and caused the flare. Well, 2 weeks of slowing down as she asked and I feel a lot better. Even got over the flare which Prednisone wasn't even helping. Good luck to you. Prayers and healing thoughts :)

yeah, just look for breaks in the clouds versus an unstoppable slide. t i took my biologics for all over a year and each one had ups and downs. even the current one at two years i have flares. i but i always had somehing good to say over the long curve. maybe this is a ping and you will re-set. i hope so.

Thanks guys. Feeling better today and didn't give in and take prednisone. Sometimes all you need is a Sunday full of sleep and relaxation.

You brought up a good question.
It can be a wait & see thing while on these medications & flaring.
I imagine for most there's that fear of the med no longer working.
It's unlike any other treatment. No rhyme or reason just stops.
Always found that so strange but 2 of my doctors said its common of these treatments.
