Rheumatoid Arthritis Support Group
Rheumatoid arthritis is a chronic, inflammatory, multisystem, autoimmune disorder. It is a disabling and painful condition which can lead to substantial loss of mobility due to pain and joint destruction. The disease is also systemic in that it often also affects many extra-articular tissues throughout the body including the skin, blood vessels, heart, lungs, and...
BP is much better but still not normal. I take bystolic 5mg. I find that for me it's elevated being hyper/nervous - not just in general.
This disease has gotten me upset way too many times to be a calm happy person, so the bystolic really helps.
The left side of my back really feels decent and I'm so grateful!
Next time I go, I'll be better armed. :)
When I had 2 steroid shots in my neck last June- I was so thrilled to have relief from the pain I had been suffering I didn't notice anything but life was better. As I think back I think I had flushing then too but did not take my BP
Did over hear nurse telling another patient to check with her treating physcian about adjusting insulin & BP meds for procedures. Although this patients BP was up in part because of her pain levels. Yes can hear everything behind those white bed curtains.
I have hypotension so with pain I'm in normal range or slightly elevated.
Good question for your doctor that does injections. You would think they would warn patients with BP problems. Although it's recommended for patients with high BP to avoid anti inflammatories quite often. My husband is suppose to check his before taking anything. So would make sense but with most things we do not know all the ins & outs.
I've seen more people then not have BPs go up from white coat syndrome.
If it was me I'd put a call in & address those concerns.
Then perhaps decide whether to get the other side done.
So glad you have relief.
Blessings, Sammy
