Well got the picc line out. But have to stay on strong antibiotics for at least 6 more weeks and can't have my infusion for at least 6 more weeks. Kinda bummed about that. My potassium is also dangerously low.

Infections in bone are sly, sneaky, and tough to eradicate. Sorry it's taking so darned long to clear up. Just chase it away for good this time.

Do they know why potassium got so low? I assume you are on a big dose of it and getting rechecked often.
Hang in there. Hopefully you'll beat the 6 wk mark since the ra med has got to be gone by now.

I struggle with my potassium often. I've been hospitalized before. If I were to go right now I'm sure they would admit me. They just switched me to the powder a pretty big dose tastes nasty but have to go do labs again Friday. I suppose the constant state of stomach distress (putting it nicely) may be partly to blame
