Dentist visit pooped me out.

I've been feeling pretty good. I went for my 6 month dental clean and exam. It was an excellent visit (I work hard on taking care of my teeth). Hygienist and the dentist were greatly impressed. So why am I so tired? Anyone else experience this?

Similar experience......

The last time I had my cleaning done, as with most joints that get used or stressed, the next day I could hardly use my jaw. This was because of holding my mouth open for those long periods. Said this to the dentist at my next visit and he said they have a device to help hold your mouth open that should help in not stressing the jaw joint.

Who would have known?

I find medical visits mentally poop a person out-the mental worry and the waiting in the waiting room and wondering what is going to happen..all builds up ....

And then there is the fact that having one's teeth cleaned is one of the most tiresome activities out there just to start with.

Well, after I posted about how tired I was, I experienced an awful flare. I felt so sick. Indescribable. Not like a stomach bug, not exactly like the flu. Moan out loud miserable! I took my rarely used, specially saved Ultram and went to bed. Slept great and woke up all better. Geez, I won't look forward to the next dentist appt! Do people premedicate for dental cleanings?
