Anything that serious there should be.
An example my sister went to her appointments very close in date with her Gyno & her PCP. Had some bloodwork come back off. One recommended one thing the other recommended another.
One was concerned the other not at all.
Now this is not near as challenging as your situation but did make me think. Except in her case it would have been a third opinion but nothing serious enough for that thanks be to god.
There are times I'm left shaking my head over doctors.
Let's hope there's no surgery needed. You've had your challenges lately time for a break here. I'm sure you could use one.
Thinking positive for you.

I have had nodes on my vocal cords too. I went through vocal rehab and they went away. Sinus problems seems to be associated
with RA. I notice when my sinuses act up the post nasal drip seems to cause me to get very hoarse and raspy. I would not jump into vocal surgery quickly. Use surgery as a last resort. The recommendation of a second opinion sounds like an excellent idea. Do you have a post nasal drip that can be causing or contributing to the problem?
I am not a doctor or a nurse, however, I can only go by what has helped me. I irrigate my sinuses daily, take Robitussin for colds occasionally as needed, and use a daily nose spray..Azelastine. I find this also seems to help my RA. When my sinuses are doing better my voice and RA seems to be better. When the sinuses act up I can tell I am about to flare or flaring. Additionally, it all starts with foods I eat. What I eat can make my sinuses go bad. Lots of gentle hugs to you! Please keep us informed.
