My CRP was 28 in january, 32 in february and 34 right now. my sed rate has ranged from 50 to 58 during this time. currently at 50.... started humira on 3rd shot now. i asked my rheumatologist if i could have an infection of some kind... also blood work shows i'm very anemic. every time i ask my rheumatologist about this he keeps saying "oh it's ra"... he doesn't even entertain there could be something else gonig on... nor did he put me on any kind of treatment for anemia.. i finally requested this from my GP.

i am so sick of rheumatologists having total blinders on and just in general being sorry doctors. this is my 3rd doc. i've had ra for 4 years now and i'm worse than i've ever been.

i welcome any feedback. so tire of being the doctor and patient. i swear i feel like i know as much as my doctor or either he just doesn't give a crap. it's like they want to treat "well" patients and not the sick patients. frustrating.

could i have an infection of some sort or is the high crp / anemia / high sed rate all just ra? and how and what would you test to see if there was some type of infection going on? i haven't been able to work in over a year. i lay around all day everyday because i feel to bad to move or do anything.... it's an awful way to live.
