Rheumatoid Arthritis Support Group
Rheumatoid arthritis is a chronic, inflammatory, multisystem, autoimmune disorder. It is a disabling and painful condition which can lead to substantial loss of mobility due to pain and joint destruction. The disease is also systemic in that it often also affects many extra-articular tissues throughout the body including the skin, blood vessels, heart, lungs, and...
You're "normal" , our normal anyway. This disease permeates all aspects of our lives and its not realistic to think it will never get to us.
Looks like you have a lot going on too! Hang in there.
Note: If you are on an antidepressant, you may want to touch bases with your doctor.
Hope your mood lightens up quickly. Hugs to you.

I'm trying to work on it.
Lately I refuse to discuss any stressful subjects at all. Was just at night time. Realizing I can't avoid life. Although my husband has been like this for years with choosing to ignore all important subjects so in a small way kind of funny. Roles have changed & he does not like it.
I do blow more then ever. I also have to apologize & that's getting old.
The whole thing puts you on edge. Prednisone can intensify it but pain, exhaustion & all the other nasties play a big part.
Wish I was perfect in handling it all but I'm not & can only work at it.
Your husband has RA Also?
How is he in this area?
Just wandering.

give yourself a pass.
you know deep inside you are a caring great individual it's just this week or month you have to function at extremely reduced capacity so there are no reserves (or spoons) to put up with anyone else's drama of the minute.
