We have to do whatever it takes to make it easier on ourselves.. Don't be surprised if you get dirty looks for parking in a handicap even with a plaquard... It happens to me all the time...
I am ready for the next one..I am going to hold up the medic alert bracelet and tell them to choose which one of my medical problems they would like to take on for me...lol
Hope you feel better soon...
I have a wheelchair too, but haven't had to use it since I got on a biologic. But it is there, if I need it. Sad, but true. These aids are there for a reason, there is no sense pretending we don't need them. Sorry you took this step, but really, it is the only sensible thing to do.
Hugs and prayers for your flare up today. It is a "couch and movie day for me" hope u can stay in now and make it a movie day too. _just watched the descendants, great movie.
Xoxo.
Jane, my son is doing a little better and is back at work now. Ortho said in a few more weeks, he should be pretty much healed. Thanks for asking.
Angela, you are exactly right. It was really past time for me to get sensible about this RA beast and take advantage of some help. I must look pitiful moving around because people in line at the DMV offered for me to sit down and they would hold my place in line. I thanked them but did not take them up on their offer. Lol. People are great if we just allow them to be.
Thanks to all of you for your support.
Kudos!
