as some of you may know, i was planning on taking the summer off of biologics and getting some tattoo work done. my left hip, which had felt bruised or something, has not gotten any better over the last week.... so it's definitely not like a strain or a bruise. it's probably disease related :( i've been doing some yoga stretches for my hip, but nothing's helped yet.
i put in a call to my rheumy's office today to see if i can be seen by another doctor there. he's younger and has some good reviews online, so i'm hoping he will be open minded to treatment and new research and stuff.
i also just found another patch of suspect skin behind my other ear. i'm contemplating going to a dermatologist without waiting to see a rheumy because i don't need referrals - going in with a suspected dx of psoriasis will likely change what the rheumy wants to do.
knowing it will take a few weeks to get an appointment anyway, i'm hoping to get some tattoo work done while i wait. tattoos heal on me within about 2-3 weeks, and it takes that long to get a damn script through my specialty pharma anyway.
not feeling all the changes going on with my health right now. just not feeling it at all.

As far as the title of your post goes, I've always loved John Lennon's observation that life is what happens while you're busy making plans.
i love that saying. sometimes i feel like i shouldn't bother making any plans and just let things happen. but i'm too much of a controlling person to do that.
