It was just a wonderful tax day for me this year, sitting still at a red light behind two other vehicles got slammed in the rear by a van that gave no warning at all, didn't slow (i was in a honda civic)) and hit me at about 40mph slamming me into the vehicle in front of me. Yes, got x-rays, mri. I've been going to the chiro since to get the spine re-set properly but i keep having RA bouncing from side to side, this joint to that joint from fingers to ankles. Before this i'd had virtually no problems at all with knees, hips, ankles. Yesterday at chiro (progressing pretty well according to her) i asked about it. She said that the stress of the incident on the muscles and tendons will take 4 to 6 weeks for them to heal and that while they do they will contract pulling bones/joints and could be the reason for the continual flares. All this while i've been very good sticking to my diet but having to take anti-inflamms daily which i despise doing. This episode indicates to me that i need to stay out of amusement park rides, off water skis, horse back riding, etc, things that can cause jars and jolts to the interstate highway of nerves to my body. just thought i should share, hope y'all have a good day.
