Rheumatoid Arthritis Support Group
Rheumatoid arthritis is a chronic, inflammatory, multisystem, autoimmune disorder. It is a disabling and painful condition which can lead to substantial loss of mobility due to pain and joint destruction. The disease is also systemic in that it often also affects many extra-articular tissues throughout the body including the skin, blood vessels, heart, lungs, and...
Along with playing with the nice folks over in the Depression, and Parenting Groups, he tries to keep up here too. But this group is growing and speeding up, which is GOOD!
Here are some links to read when you are in need of some incoherent rambling or whining (I won't even mention poor spelling - oops I just did):

Fights break out from time to time, sometimes people feel like they need to get all the attention, and ... wel, yeah, I know what you mean. Sounds like you've been there. I met some really great individuals there, but they all stopped coming around because of the fighting and one was targeted - no matter what she wrote, this one member would just slam her. There are a lot of good people who have tried really hard to set more ground rules (what more do you need than the one set up already - "Be NIce"?). But people with serious issues come for support, and these issues shine through.
I was diagnosed with depression back in 1991. I'm sure I've had it my whole life. When my RA really got a good hold on me I really spiraled. I have recieved some heart-felt thank yous for things I added there, and it means a lot.
The people who aren't there any more are the funniest people! I really miss the games they played. But like every group here (even this one) you have your evolution, right.
Well, thanks for the heads up!
One more thing - what you said, and what I just wrote about is what made me put up the post about CL's - and how we don't need any in this group, and how nice that is.

Everybody I've met from the Depression Group has been very nice to me.
