I had my first infusion of remicade on Monday. Yesterday I had crushing fatigue and malaise. Today feels the same so far. Is that common with biologics? I can muster thru....just wondered if anyone else felt that.
From everyone I've spoken to it's common for Remicade. I had my first infusion last week and I've "talked" to a lot of people in other groups who have taken the it and fatigue was the one common side effect they all experienced. Some immediately following the infusion to the point of not being able to drive themselves home but the majiority all had crushing fatigue the following day that usually passed by the second or third day at the latest.
I was tired the day afterward but I've also been flaring for almost 8mo. I wasn't overwhelmed by it since it's my new normal these days.
I did not experience fatigue after Enbrel or Humira. In fact, Humira actually gave me an energy boost.
Just my experiences anyway. Hope you get some energy back soon.
