My son graduated from college in early May (yay!) and his apartment lease was up at the end of May. Yep, he's moving back home. I LOVE having them (twins) home so that's not the issue. The mistake came from me believing I could help him pack and move!! What was I thinking???? I've spent the last 24+ hours in bed downing pain pills. Is it possible to have tendinitis in 230 joints at the same time? I tried soaking in a warm bath yesterday, another mistake as I couldn't get out of the tub. Thankfully the hubby was home to help me. Called the rheumy this morning and he's calling in prednisone for me. At least that will help with any inflammation.

Clearly I wasn't thinking! HAHA I take my MTX on Tuesdays and have been feeling great on Wednesday nights and Thursdays. I might have had a touch of Wonder Woman Syndrome!

I have been using the following hot and cold therapy as seen in the link below. The hot helps with flexibility and the cold reduces swelling.I was only using heat for the longest time and hurt worse until I learned you should never put heat alone on a swollen joint.

Thanks sreed! Cold is usually hard for me as I have Raynaud's Phenomenon. I can tolerate the cold on my large joints. Thank for reminding me.

Oh wow RCross, I'm soooo sorry you are suffering so! I know what happens -- you think you feel good (or you do feel good) so you overdo it and then your body says "PSYCH OUT! NOPE! MWAA HA HA HA"

I totally get it.

R cross, I do the same thing.... i take on projects and then crash into bed.... but I've done it this way for more than the years...i doubt I'll stop now. I hope u recover soon. Out of curiosity... what meds do you take besides prednisone?

ScarlettRA....I know you totally get it! Thank you.

Sunvalleygal....For my RA I'm only on mtx, folic and the occasional prednisone burst. Rheumy and I are discussing adding another med but we have to go slow because of my biliary and kidney issues. I've been on mtx since the end of March and wanted to wait 3 months before adding another dmard.

MaryPop....I'm definitely not "normal" hahaha! Thanks for the giggles!
