Cimzia didn't work for me but nothing really has worked for me yet. I wish you the best.

I felt some relief from Cimzia but it did not agree with me.
It's not a treatment you hear about as much as say Enbrel or Humira.
Yet my insurance insisted I try it before approving another med.
May hear more about Cimzia in the future.

I am on my starter pack of Cimzia. After the first dose, I felt much relief. Then I came down with an ear infection and the doc put me on an antibiotic. So no Cimzia while fighting the infection. So now I have taken the second dose and waiting on the third. I can tell that it will be so helpful! I will be taking my 3rd dose of the starter pack on Monday. The day after the dose I was pretty wiped out, but then was feeling so much better and then the help declined after awhile. This is the most significant relief I have had on any biologic.

I was also impressed with the packaging of the medication. The syringe has been designed by "Good Grips" so is very thoughtful and easy to use. They also package with the alcohol swabs. It is the little things that make a difference.

I've been taking cimzia for two years now. It works good for me. Reduces pain and fatigue, my two biggest problems. I work full time and would be miserable working without it. Side effects are fatigue and headache for 1-2 days after injection. I take my injection Friday after work so I hAve the weekend to rest. And injection site reactions which for me is a 3-4 inch super itchy hive at a past injection site. Benadryl cream or cortisone cream takes it away. Shots in the legs hurt but can hardly feel them in my lower abdomen. So far, I've had no serious infections or illnesses so that's good.
