Is anyone using CVS Specialty Pharmacy for there meds? My doctor is trying to set me up on it because of the type of private insurance that I have. CVS is the stupidest company out there. The gal who gives me my infusions is about to pull her hair out. She finally got a supervisor and they promised her that she would receive my meds tomorrow. They were supposed to be here Tuesday. I just hope I don't have to go thru this every month.

I am so sorry to hear that. I did have CVS Specialty, because that is who our insurance said we had to go through. I was giving myself shots, and I always did get my shots in time. I am now getting infusions for Rituxan, at a Cancer Center, so far all is good with that. Hopefully, it will be straightened out for you soon.

I've had to use CVS specialty pharmacy 5 months now. Making a very long story short they have been the biggest help to me getting my Humira prescription started. The entire time I have called in for a refill and has been delivered on the day they said it would.

Is there a question in your post?

I've been using them for about five months as well, with no problem. Could be you are just dealing with one difficult individual. If possible, see if you can speak to a different agent there.

Wonder here.
My doc orginally had mine to go through CVS speciality.
Yet in past always used Diolomat. One other big specialty they use. Dang brain fog.
Anyway I told her a prefer to stick with the same one I've been using.
Before this never really heard of CVS speciality.
Funny how we all have different encounters.
Guess depends on factors involved.

I have CVS Caremark. I should be receiving my first shipment of meds today. I'm hoping all goes well because it is well over an hours drive to get to my dr. My husband has BCBS and last January they made us use the CVS as our prescription provider. They are always very helpful and were very courteous getting me all set up with my Orencia order.

I get Orencia shipped through CVS. They are't too bad except I have had to call every month to confirm that they are shipping it, and I've given them the same credit card every month yet they fail to charge it and tell me I'm overdue on my bill.
