I had plans for today, nothing required since I'm retired, but this morning I flared and now, at 5:00 p.m., I've spent the day in bed or in front of the tv/computer since I started to flare around 9:00 a.m. It's way too familiar, and I hate it . I haven't found a good way to deal with it either.

My joints still work but I hurt all over, but the worse part is I'm so tired and don't want to do anything. It sucks!

Just venting I guess....

Hi-De ajmoran - sounds like a sorta yuk day - sorry ... I wish we all didn't have to deal with this "stuff"

Ya know - when I get just DOWN and just HURT all over, I take a hot shower, put on some clean slouchy way too big cotton shorts and a tank top and just vegetate ... TV gets boring after a while - seems like it's always the same stuff - I do like to read, but after an hour or so, my arms get tired. That is when I waddle-slide over to the recliner, get my cozy and turn the A/C up and snooze ... that seems to help me

My friend we have all had those days. The best thing to do is try and relax, I do Netflix since there is nothing of any interest on tv. Tomorrow will be better. Trish

I've been having those kind of days day after day....it gets very depressing to just sit and waste the time away because you aren't able to do anything...all I can offer is understanding and you are not alone.

I can relate, I feel that way today, too. It does suck. I like Bluedogs2's game plan. That's what I would do if I didn't have a 3 year old to entertain...Feel better.

I am newly diagnosed and I had a horrible day yesterday. I work 4 days a week so I was able to stay home yesterday and work today. I felt like I wanted to stay in bed today. I felt this way before my onset so I was relieved to have woken up to not debilitating swelling. I still have pain today but was able to make it to work. My worry is -is that the onset was July 13th and it is new and I read all your posts and cant even imagine how it will feel to be worse. I barely have anything right now and it is a lot. :( Hope you feel better

Hi ajmoran, it's okay to vent. You are amongst friends. So vent away. I understand exactly the way you feel. I have had to miss several planned occasion because of not feeling well. Fortunately my friends continue to invite me because they do understand. When I have those awful days, I stop, rest in bed and take my pain medication. I am a big believer in having pain meds to help ease the drama of pain as well.
