I have read conflicting information on the angle of the humira syringe. Does anyone use the prefilled syringes? I have read 45 degree and 90 degree. The humira web site says 90. Reading material says 45. I called the humira nurse line she said 45 degree. Any help on how u do it. Thanks

My hubby always gave me the humira because I was afraid of the pen. It was the auto injector.

I am now on Actemra syringes and my daughter on her recent visit watched me and told me as an LPN, they were instructed to do subcutaneous shots at a 90 degree angle. But I suspect either or are okay.

Mine are done at 90...per the instructions in the box. I always ice my stomach for 10 minutes before the injection and it doesn't sting as much.

Thanks. I am a nurse also and that is why I questioned it. The material that came with the syringes say 45 degrees. Depending on how long the needle is subq cant always b 90 degree because the med is not to go into the muscle even if u do pinch the skin. Confusing
