An observation about Kefir. Opinions?

Okay, bearing in mind this is merely an observation, not scientific, and that RA is a multi factor disease, and my daily life has a million other variables... and this may have been spontaneous any way... This is an observation to hopefully help others recognize foods that MIGHT impact our symptoms.

I love Kefir and yogurt. I find I eat/drink it every day. Lately though...

I have noticed while drinking Kefir, that my joint pain tends to be slightly worse. I stopped drinking it, and the pain decreased in about a day or two. A was blaming the cold weather, but, I don't think that's quite right.

My theory is the probiotics that boost the immune system, well, boost my immune system which is the "frenemy" of us all.

Thoughts? Experiences?

current addiction is flax milk, not bad.

Sounds like dairy is a definite trigger! Isn't it amazing to realize that something makes "bad" worse?

I linked various foods (many of them 'healthy'stuff) to specific autoimmune disease symptoms a couple of years ago. Later food allergy testing confirmed all of the flare foods as positives. Now as long as I avoid those 24 foods (plus certain food colors and artificial additives) I live like a normal person and am on no RA drugs. When my willpower weakens (these were my favorite foods that I lived on for most of my life) I pay for it dearly with a 2 day flare up of specific inflammation towards that trigger food.

There are many books, research studies and websites there are which focus on specific foods = systemic inflammation equation.
