I don't know what is going on but I had an amazing day! I took my MTX early Friday morning and was pretty useless by noon and all day yesterday. I got up this morning and felt great!
Today I managed to clean my kitchen and bathroom. I picked up the living room and dining room. Washed, dried, folded and put away 3 loads of laundry. We went grocery shopping and brought take out home for dinner. Then I went to check on one of my patients. Came home and made up some of my homemade 409 cleaner, fabric softener and dryer sheets. All this and I am not exhausted, tired but not exhausted.
I did have some pain today but not anything I cannot handle. Most everything worked like it should. I did take some Tramadol this evening because I could feel it creeping in and I know it will 10x worse when I get into bed.
I don't know what made today so good but I am thankful! I think I know what many of you mean about prednisone. I can't take it and haven't but I think days like today are what prednisone gives you. I know better than to expect it everyday but this is the fist day in months I have felt like my old self!

but really - a fellow DIY'er! i make my own general cleaning spray and laundry soap. dh won't let me make my own dishwasher soap, but i'm working on him. i use vinegar for softener and made wool dryer balls too. they definitely help cut down on drying time, but only help a little re: static. i really need to figure out something for that because my husband's work out clothes get really staticky!

Stephgas- I tried making my own dishwasher powder and hated it! The glasses didn't come out clear and the dishes just didn't seem as clean. Seemed like a residue was on all of them. This happened even though I used vinegar in the rinse aid cup and asorbic acid in the powder itself. I went back to buying the commercial tabs. I do love my laundry soap, fabric softener, dryer sheets, lysol wipes, floor cleaner and carpet cleaner. Making these has saved me a ton already.
