Just stopping by to say HI, I have been feeling pretty good. Been really busy, had some artisans shows, my daughter's engaged and we are having a party and working on that and getting the house ready for fall and winter. (ugh) While I have not been posting too much, been keeping tabs on you all. Hi new members, sorry you have been going through this RA thing and for those who have been dealing, I hope things are getting better. I go for my third ck up since beening dx on Tues. Hoping things are going ok behind the scenes, cause I have been feeling pretty good and doing my daily rituals. Tire out early bout 7 pm and call it a day but good otherwise.
Going on my first airplane trip Tues for a 5 day trip to New England. I am more afraid of germs than my body hurting being crunched up on the airplane. Going to talk to rheumy bout flu shots.

I am on methotrexate and prednisone. I asked my rheumy about flu shots. He told me I can take the seasonal flu vaccine but not the swine flu vaccine (H1N1). I work at a hospital and they are telling us to wash, wash, wash our hands scrubbing for at least 20 seconds as a major preventative of germs. Use hand sanitizer when soap and water is not available, too. I would take plenty of hand sanitizer on your trip with you! Enjoy the beautiful autumn colors in New England!
