Help please

I have a few concerns not sure if I should call my Dr or not, I went and seen her last Friday she took me off MTX cause I was losing my hair and put me on avra and I have been taking humria for awhile. The past few weeks I have been waking up almost throwing up and my heart racing it feels like I lose my breath it takes awhile to get back to normal, my hand s are on fire and swollen and in alot of pain, she wants me to go get a ANA test and a Urine test my throat hurts she said she was testing for lupus has anybody else been through this? thanks for all you doo ,, Marie

I definetly have the hand thing its like you have a fever in them and nohing makes it go away but I started having that before the meds and before being diagnosed. I also had some weird heart things goin on before my diagnosis where it would race and I wouldnt be doing anything and so they put me on propranonol and then it seemed to go away but now is kinda back. I cant take MTX either and have had 3 injections of the humira and have had chest pain straight for the last week and a half I wonder if it could be related? My throat swells up from the RA and I will sound hoarse like i'm really sick but it doesnt hurt. My ANA tests were negative. Sorry I dont believe I was any help just venting too, its so frusterating to not know what is going on!

Marie and ahhsushie -- I have been having alot of trouble with my hands lately. They start itching and feel as if they are on fire and then start to swell. The only thing that makes them feel better is to put them under cold water.

Does this only happen to you in the mornings when you wake up? Mine seem to be at random times throught the day. My doctor seems to think maybe it's a side effect of my med, but I'm not convinced.

Hmmmm....I am surprised that she didn't want to take you off a new drug if you all the sudden are experiencing the symptoms you describe. Did you have those symptoms on the mtx?
