My rheumy told me that since I'm on long-term low-dose prednisone she is supposed to offer me bisphosphonates, but seemed happy when I said no. Between mild Graves' Disease and thye pred, my endo is keeping a close eye on bone density.
Don't know if it is just that I take enough drugs already or what, but I feel pretty reluctant to start with this class of drugs.
Doctor prescribed Fosamax with D and my insurance company denied coverage. I emailed my doctor about it but never got a response months ago. I started taking calcium and D3 OTC until I see her at the end of this month.
