So its been decided, actually a few weeks back that I am going to be changing from Simponi Aria to Remicade. The Doc wasnt happy with the changes that came not only from my blood work but the fact that I called and complained about a flare that has yet to actually stop affecting me.
I have been on prednisone since the end of July, anytime i taper it down below 20mgs i start to feel worse again. So i am hanging around at the 25mg line just to get me through until next week.
I've also started to dread the question my parents ask.."Are you okay?" I generally answer okay but occasionally i want to let the verbal vomit that is sitting on the edge of my tongue just explode out and list everything that feels bad and how baddly i feel but i dont because i dont want to worry them.
I am exhausted and irritated but overall though things could be much much worse for the fact that this is all i'm dealing with atm it isnt so bad.

I have come to the realization and acceptance that this is going to be a journey that is ever-changing. I fully understand about the "Are you ok?" question. It sometimes is just easier to say yes instead of listing out what doesn't feel good today. But, be sure to educate your loved ones on what your challenges are. I have found that my family wants to be fully informed about my health. Good or bad days. They tell me that sometimes the only way they feel like they are helping is to listen to me.
Keep at it - you will find something that works for you. May not be perfect, but it will help.
