Had my appointment today. Good news and bad news. X-rays ok. Bone density ok. RA not ok. And I had to get chest X-rays he is concernd may have pnuemonia. I didn't kno I was supposed to stop enbrel because of bein sick I had asked the dr at the walkin clinic wat to do they said keep all meds going. So I have been on my methotrexate and enbrel the whole time now I'm very ill. Still no voice he said I should see an ENT but not yet. And I will be going off enbrell on to orencia. Thanks everyone for all your thoughts.

Well now maybe you can sleep better - As I recall, you have not had the opportunity to rest too much since coming back from vacation - TRUE ????

did you go thru all the side effects of enbrel once again?

hope you feel better. take rest. that should definitely help.

I hope you don't have pneumonia. That's nothing to mess around with. It's frustrating that the doctor at the walk in clinic didn't know to advise you correctly. I am worried about you. I hope it's not pneumonia and that you feel much better soon!

My guess would be that the people at your local neighborhood doc-in-a-box don't know diddlysquat about Enbrel or methotrexate. Back in the olden days when I actually had a decent rheumatologist, my marching orders were to call her if I was sick. That is probably a good policy, as most doctors don't see enough people on MTX or Enbrel to be too familiar with them.

Hope you don't have pneumonia. That's a problem no one needs.

Happy to hear that the bone density tests are ok. NOT happy about the rest. Take care of your self, rest well and I will pray for NO pneumonia.

When I had a sinus infection the pharmacist wasn't going to fill the prescription til he talked to DR, when I got there I told him I called them already and they said to stop MTX while on antibiotics...so he (reluctantly) filled it :P
