Just got a call that my thyroid test was low am anemic ,low potasium and low vitamin d high sed and crp. Anyway is thyroid part of RA or maybe from our meds?

I don't recall the thyroid being directly related to RA, but there are autoimmune thyroid conditions that can affect it.
A cursory search lead me to webmd and it said individuals with diabetes or RA should be screened.
Anemia can be related to RA or its treatments.

Hi Kimberly, the thyroid issue could be an entity among itself. Isolated one. The vitamin D many people are lo in that especially those on the east coast who don't get much sun through the entire year. A supplement taken regularly would be helpful along with an iron tab for anemia. Take the iron pills when you do with orange juice if you can. It enhances the potency of the iron tablets and bring up your iron levels nicely. Good luck with everything.
