I am accepting my diagnosis but this is not giving in. I will read the research and follow good advice. I will not let the negative thought become a negative mood. For me this is the first step. And I accept the days when the fatigue is over powering and I cherish the times it is not. I feel that this journey begins here with acceptance.

While I admit I have RA, I don't think I've learned to accept it yet. At first I did, but somewhere along the way, I've rejected it. My left ring finger is a reminder it is real - it aches and sticks like a trigger finger.
But, I'm not.there.yet.

good for you sharonouch. Im still trying to get there. somedays are closer than others but its so hard .Im with you bcatz.....when I see all these deformaties and im having pain to remind me, then I have no choice to try to ignore the facts...but it would make life so much easier to face it and be in check. I get surprised all the time by new crazy things my body wants to fight next .sometimes I feel like literly my own enemy living inside myself. does that make sence? oh well, too early for my brain. I guess right now Im pulling for staying positive.
