I have been "spying" on this site for a few weeks now and finally decided I would join. I have had RA for about 14 years now and it is pretty much under control. However, lately I have been having some hip/back/leg pain. It is all on my right side, which is my dominant side also. Along with this new annoyance, I have permanent damage to my right ankle, which hurts something fierce after being on it too much. My jaw has also started to bother me more than normal. It's weird because everything hurts on my right side....I recently bought a new, really good mattress, a special pillow for between my legs and a new neck pillow. I don't have as much pain when I wake up since I have done all of this.
Anyway, the reason I wanted to send this message is to ask about your dr. visits and if you feel like sometimes the doctors don't "get it". I was telling him about my new hip/back/leg pain and he feels like it's all muscular? He doesn't think it's RA from my hip. I have been to massage therapists and physical therapists over the last 6 mths. and they felt like my fascia was inflamed, possibly linked to my RA. Anybody else out there have similiar experiences?

I think most rhuemys don't get very much. Did you tell him what the physio said? Hope you get the pain under control.
