Rheumatoid Arthritis Support Group
Rheumatoid arthritis is a chronic, inflammatory, multisystem, autoimmune disorder. It is a disabling and painful condition which can lead to substantial loss of mobility due to pain and joint destruction. The disease is also systemic in that it often also affects many extra-articular tissues throughout the body including the skin, blood vessels, heart, lungs, and...
Have you tried the biologics? Humira changed my life. The inflammation and constant pain have been alleviated so much since i started on the Humira.
I know it is hard, but please do not be discouraged, and KEEP LOOKING for meds that help you. It is an ongoing effort for us to feel better. My dr recently gave me Meloxicam and it seems to help.
Prayers for you...........and I wish I had a hubby, friend, sister, boyfriend......someone to help me with this awful disease.............
My biggest regret is that the disease has robbed my children of the mother I wish I' could have had the energy to be. I feel like I sometimes have to put on the brace face for others while all along I'm crying myself to sleep.
I realize that things. Old have been worse and I am thankful for the portion of health I do have. I just have to continually remind myself of that. I am not RA and RA does not own me!
Blessings to you
i know this is super hard and i pray we all get better and the cure for this terrible disease will be known soon...i wish you all the strength you need for today and the future ...
if i could i would give you a big hug ...stay strong and hopefully you can get some pain management ..
Tami
Realizing you you have to keep working on ways to bring the RA under control perhaps you can ask to be referred to a good pain management doctor.
I'm sorry for the life of me I don't understand why doctors treating patients for painful diseases like RA let their patients suffer.
Comes down to quality of life. Everyone deserves that.
I truly wish you the best. Bless that husband of yours.
Sammy
A good week-end I'm hoping for you.
Peace
