I don't have any personal experience with them, but my sister swears one lived...lived, seriously?...one 'existed' in a house her family used to live in and it got 'upset' over a picture of one of our great-great-great grandfathers that was framed and hanging over the piano in the living room. (Maybe THAT was the issue...that 'living' word keeps popping up). Anyway, she is not normally a scared kind of person, but in this house, she was.

The two places I have been that I feel that creepy sensation are New Orleans and Boston. Have been back to Boston a few times and everytime, same thing.

I wanna believe in ghosts cause it all sounds hella cool, but I've never been given a reason to :( I don't have any cool ghost stories, or anything like that! I do believe in angels and stuff, but like Larlar, I don't think they ever once lived. They are different.

I want to go stay in a haunted hotel or something. You'd think if I'd be like, "Yo ghostie!! Come find me!!!" Maybe they would :) But maybe not. Maybe I'm doomed to be hauntless. Is that a double negative???

Okay I have in the last few months been aware of a presence that sometimes will brush my hand or foot ect. I believe it may be my mother giving guidance.

I was just on line looking for a local graphic artist who might help me make flyer and new business cards. As I looked at one web site the brushing on my hand was very distinctive?

I believe in ghosts..or I don't not believe in them.

I thought I was being haunted by a scary spirit for quite some time but it turned out to be a vivid memory from early childhood sexual abuse.

I guess I don't believe in ghosts like popular media portrays them. I think ghosts can be an echo of a person..rather than a trapped spirit. I believe in energies and that we can receive messages from people/spirits via that. I believe more in past lives than I do ghosts. Though I guess there could be a between bodies phase??

I also believe the poltergeist version of a ghost is much more likely to be a 'trapped' spirit and not necessarily one that does evil.

It's hard for me to talk about this subject because to honestly believe in ghosts links, for me, to a belief in angels/spirit guides which in turn leads to a belief that things such as demons exist. And I have a strong phobia of anything to do with the darker spirit element.

I saw a ghost when I was about 10years old and in a kind of rented house on holiday in wales. This ghost was like a tall shadow but clearly wearing a robe with a hood and long big sleeves like monks or druids in times of yore, I could clearly see it walking at the foot of my parents bed around the end as I was asleep on the floor and here was a kind of a partition. I was so scared that before it got any closer I leapt from the floor directly on my ma and desperately tried to turn the light on and then it had gone. Never forget that it was a long twenty seconds of me watching it! I didn't feel malevolence or anything - just my own fear of the unknown.
I think that's been it as far as spooks are concerned!
