So the grounds mananger emails me tonight. They're doing TONS of repairs, cleanings, and renovations to make things even nicer than before. But they're behind schedule, and he says there's no way we can go there in advance to move all our food and equipment in. The earliest we can do it is Thursday morning, which is when we'll be at the airport to pick up arriving travelers! (but they'll be done then; they're not "behind schedule" in the sense that the work won't be finished. It gets finished Wednesday.)

So that means there is a likelihood that as you all arrive to the retreat, those of us in charge will also be scrambling to haul all our stuff in (AND build the sweatlodge) at the same time.

Thursday now looks to be a stressful day. I hope everyone understands, and doesn't feel that any of this is because of lack of pre-planning or care on our part. It also means that on Thursday I might not be a good host, because I'll be shuttling Bill around, then hauling food, then building the sweatlodge, all while trying to greet people as they arrive, too!
