I guess this is probably a personal thing for me of not liking the self defense things. Because of the fact that it doesn't prevent anything. I was in Karate for some of the time that I was with Rich. I had gone back to it for a short time trying to see if I could do it even though my doctor told me not to. And it's not like I forgot the things I learned. So I guess that just creates an issue for me.

Just come to the OK retreat...we won't be making you kick anyones rear....unless you want to and even then it's will only be in the proverbial sense:) That sounds like alot of work anyway...the OK retreat is much more laid back...minimal structure = great time will be had by ALL! There aren't enough hours in a day to get all that in and keep our ceremony time as it should for optimal bonding.

I don't know is there a bike race in town thats going to take up ALL the available flights so people who miss their flights have to drive cross country to get home?:) Or go take a bus to Dallas, whichever scares you less.LOL

Gee, I thought it might even be better that weekend, because peoples' work scheduled might allow for it. I need to know people's best options for the retreat weekend, please.

I'm pretty sure whatever will work for me. I'm sure I'll be able to ask someone to cover me in whatever job I get for the couple days
