I just received official confirmation that our State Coalition Against Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault has received funding and approval to begin a training program, statewide, about treatment of rape trauma!
I have been contracted to provide four all-day trainings in each quarter of the state each week in April. It will target mental health professionals and count as continuing education for them. What this means, symbolically, is that the "RAR method" has just become the default treatment method taught to therapists doing rape crisis work in our state.

And no, I never thought this book would take things so far. I just knew I felt incredibly happy writing it, and it brought me closer to some good friendships and role models.
