Veering even further off topic, I suppose in truth I'm a fusion of Ron and Professor Lupin. Comparing myself to Voldemort just seemed absurd enough to be funny... :)

Ron, because Ron's kind-hearted and loves a bit of raucous, bawdy humor, and he has good intentions but he's also reluctant to stay on-task. He tends to be more intuitive than studious. He's emotionally smart, but not bureaucratic. Ron's flaw is that he takes shortcuts when busywork seems superfluous to him. He comes through, but it tends to be last-minute energy rather than conscientious planning (like Hermione wold do). When he disappoints his friends, he feels intensely miserable about it until he atones, long after his friends have forgiven him.

Lupin, because he's an educated mentor and helper, but he's not on a power trip over others. He's patient with Harry and takes time to share what he can. People who don't understand his atypical nature direct all sorts of unfair spite and rejection against him, costing him his job and sending him into poverty. Nevertheless, he continues his efforts to help and defend others. Lupin's character flaw is that he feels insecure about who he is because he expects rejection.
