I get quite a few friend requests on FB, and a lot of them are bogus of course. But sometimes, a person I know here wants to sign up as a FB friend, too. However, I get friend requests from names I don't recognize and decline them, when I would have happily agreed if I'd know they were some of you! If you do send me a request, please inform me that we know each other from here, because I may know your DS names without knowing your real names. If I don't make the connection, I'll likely ignore requests without intending to reject someone who's sincere.
Also, DS is where I come to be thoughtful, to express my values and spiritual ideas, and to convey my best attributes because I respect all of you so much. FB, by contrast, is PURELY a playground for me: goofy, silly, irreverent, blowing off steam! Be aware that for those of you initiating FB contact with me, you will see all of those things, plus political banter, jokes, and not a recognizable speck of my thoughtful or spiritual sides! :)

It hasn't been a problem, but with more and more people friending each other, I'd like it to be said. Not only are we "irreverent" (awesome use of the word, btw!!) but it's kinda my "rape free" zone. I don't expect people to be blatant about it, but I know some people belong to the RAR FB page. I do not, simply because it shows in your profile under "info.": So, what I mean by that is that I am extremely private about it over there. I am not asking anyone else to refrain from talking about their experience, or even political or social issues surrounding it... All I ask is that no one references my participation here. There's a very large part of me that feels this comment is unnecessary, but the other part is enough that if I don't, and I feel vulnerable over there, I will feel like I should have said something.
I have made reference to going to see some of you, but I leave it at that, "Can't wait to see you in April!!" kinda thing :) So, I'm not totally anti-social, lol.

Where do you find them ? hehe
(And I'm also hoping it'll turn out to be a nice way of promoting my novel, when I'm finally ready to do that.)
