Do you think we sit on these for a reason??? And whoa! Some of these, well, does the term "Spandex isn't for everyone" ring any bells?

These people, we should feel very sorry for them, they obviously have no friends, because a friend would tell them to revisit the Speedo rack and make an exchange.

But the point was the blatant exploitation of the athletes. A lot of blogging has been done about the disparate treatment of Olympians based on gender, with headlines like "Gold diggers!" to describe women's teams, and a lot of attention to the physical attributes of female athletes. The only comparable attention I've noticed to male athlete's physical attributes has been my wife's "thinking out loud" about hunky swimmer Matt Grever.

I have to admit...I am a Winter Olympics fan. I haven't really watched the actual events. I did see where China used a stand-in lip-sync for the little one who sang. What in the world does that say to little girls all over the world who realize that the pretty one who can't sing takes the limelight while the little girl with little girl teeth is forced to stay hidden.

I remember playing volleyball in High School. It can be a very grueling sport. Is it the typical all male sportscasters or have they allowed some women in? It seems the male announcers seem to get away with alot in their conversations that has no real value to the audience. And, from what I've seen of the women sportscasters, they don't stand up against the comments. Sad.
