Next retreat dates

Never too soon to start planning a goal!

Could I ask for input about the dates for the next retreat we have? (please, no funny answers like "next weekend!" These take a couple of months or more to plan, and if I'm not mistaken the group had asked for an annual retreat, meaning something in Spring 2010)

Also, feel free to advise what you'd like to see included in the retreat, whether new things or things we did this first time you want to do again...

Any time is good for me. I could potentially still be in California. So the only obligation I'd have is work and I'd have to get the time off. But I don't think it'll be that big of a deal. Matt already knows I'm going next year and is encouraging me to go. So yeah whenever works. And I think we should make it a 4 day thing if possible, not three? Or does that mean we have to pay a lot more money to rent the place?

As for graduating seniors, usually they graduate before the school gets out. Seniors in RI graduated last week, but school doesn't get out until the end of the month.

lol May 22 IS my graduation, so that's perfect because I would much rather be out of state when all of these peoples family comes in

If you were to do it the weekend after memorial day then schools here would be on holiday (I work in a school) so it would work better for me! Although would need to fly back to the uk on the Sunday which might not be practical plus it might be too expensive to come anyway so don't worry if another date is more convient for people

Early June? Fine with me, too. The only reason we'd really done May was because a lot of people had May rape anniversaries, and it was symbolic. But even though that's a good reason, it's not something we as a group are tied to, so we're very flexible.

School is out for me end of June... but I will try to work around what ever dates you all pick. I was really looking forward to going next year

Yeahhh I really can't say at the moment. Next spring I will be (hopefully) just finishing my student teaching, so leaving during that time of the year might not be something I can do, so don't count my vote for anything as influencial cause I'm not sure I can make it. But whatever ends up being decided ill try my hardest to get there!

I think that early June sounds best because Laura should be out of student teaching by then. And on top of that it'll be a bit warmer for the sweatlodge. Most people will be out of school. I won't even be in school so like I said, whenever for me.

Reallllly being serious here, don't plan anything around my ability to go. I'm flighty lol I should know more soon about if ill be able to make it.
