Dear contributors:
I'll have the final paperback edition of "Letters To Survivors: Words of Comfort for Women Recovering from Rape" in my hands by the end of the month. I'll then begin the printing process for the deluxe hardcover edition, which will take 1-3 months.
Each of you has been promised a copy of the book, of course. What I wanted to know is this: would you like your copy to be the paperback edition, available before the end of the month, or do you want to wait for the hardcover edition in up to 3 months? You can have your choice, so it really depends how eager you are.
I have paperback printer's proof in my hands now, and the book looks stunning. It is BEYOND what I'd ever hoped for. The quality of the art and the materials is top-notch. There's not one single detail that leaves me thinking, "It's great, except for..." When I receive my first cases of copies, I can ship them by Priority Mail immediately for those who want them now, or I can wait for the hardcover for those who choose that instead.

Oh, and I agree that supper vs dinner is a Northern thing. In the South, they call dinner the noontime meal, and the entire world knows that is lunch!
I know I haven't told you lately, but...I love you all so much. I am not gone. I am really working hard. It is just not something I feel I can do in an open format. In fact, I was asked by my therapist not to. I agreed to his request. So, as soon as I am able to complete the assignment I have been given, I plan on being as fully active as I had been before. The assignment involves more of another dilemma, not so much the rape. I guess I will be able to explain it someday. Thank you all for your love and understanding.

The best way a person could support the success of this book is, ironically, by not buying it from me (unless they wanted a copy I'd signed, or wanted a discount on a bulk order). Rather, the MOST helpful thing one could do is to actually walk into a Barnes and Nobel and ask them to order it for you. You'd get it for the same (discounted) price, but with no shipping, and in the same amount of time, but the more people who order a book from a brick-and-mortar store, the more likely they will begin to stock the book on shelves at ALL their stores. LTS is a book that has to be seen to be believed, and anyone physically holding a copy of it will want it. The printer has done an AMAZING feat with this book.
Now just wait until you see the deluxe edition later!

When they are in "premedia" stage, it means they're not yet available. Nobody outside of us knows this title even exists yet. When the publisher releases the data into their catalog, it becomes available anywhere in America. I'm working on expanding the catalog to Canada and UK, as well.
