On occasion, there can be posts begun here that may actually, in hindsight, be more suitable as journal entries instead. Use discretion about what topics you begin on the board, and consider whether you intend them as public discussions or journals. This isn't meant to discourage anyone from posting anything they please, but do bear in mind that the forum is Google-searchable, whereas journals are not.

To reiterate: I am not implying any judgment of my own about any of the posts here. I'm not even suggesting criteria for them. This is PURELY a common-sense privacy reminder: what we post here is cataloged by Google, so be sure that if you're starting a new topic that includes very intimate information, you consider whether you mind it showing up on Google later, or if you'd rather it be in a journal. If you're fine with it, so am I--this isn't about my personal feelings at all. I just don't want anyone hurt to find a personal writing on Google later.
(Google catalogs DailyStrength by thread topic, so it's the original post that Google catalogs, not the entire texts of every post within a thread. That's why I'm suggesting caution when INITIATING a new topic about private information; there's no similar risk in any of us replying to topics one they've begun. When you're the person starting a new topic, though, that's the time to consider the "Google effect.")
