Hmmm... seems like there are a few hints of a Bill Miller song in there, isn't there? I like the thought of living free. I like the thought of life as an adventure. I like the idea of making a plan and moving towards that goal. Simple words in a way, but so much more.
The message is exactly the same as this man's words...and it was written well before this encounter. I love it when life steps in to remind us....IT is limited and we must live it or it's meaning is lost.

Oh, yeah. Your story reminded me of a phrase a friend of mine uses: "divine encounters".
It is the greatest gift to have a positive outlook. I have my dark moments, and I'm sure he has as well. But our beliefs are not so different. I think it's true for many of us, we may just not all see it in ourselves yet.
