I am so excited for the paperback and for the hard copies. I can't wait to tell everyone "go order them!!!" I have a list of people eagerly awaiting the chance to buy a copy.

I agree with going with the matte finish option, because of the fingerprint thing. Also, if Anthem has been working in the photography field, I'll take her word on the other benefits of the matte pages :)

good points, but I'm leaning toward glossy for this. The reason is that the matte art paper is so thick that the saddle stitching is stiff and the book's binding seam shows when the book is opened flat. The glossy paper is a nice thick paper, not flimsy "catalog stock," and it also seems more vibrant with the colors. Since every page is covered with full-sized art, it would be hard to even notice fingerprints; very little of this is dark ink, and none of it is black.

Oh I see what you mean about the binding, well whatever you decide I am sure I, for one, will be very happy with it.

I decided to print it on sandpaper using ink made of the tears of sad children. Since you said you'd be happy with whatever I decided, that is.

Not sure when the turn from Matte to glossy occurred...but it really messed up my one liner! I so wanted to agree with those who said, "I'll go with matte". But I wanted to state the obvious, 'I'll go with matte, Matt"...as it stands, sandpaper is a nice option as well.
